Validating the legacy file and Oracle

Once Legacy File will move to Staging Area, From Staging Area to Target Tables,
Will write the test scenarions to cover the Table Strucutre, Table count and Field-to-field validation.Convert the Legacy file into excel or flat file and compare the Target files with the source files

Let's suppose we are migrating the data from legacy file system to oracle database tables. How would you validate that the data is migrated properly? Tell me the test scenario and test cases you will write to test this requirement. ??

answer: if its large data we go with count or need to validate whether the data is migrated or not copy paste method in excel sheet
